The purpose behind the creation of Google Open Business Partners is to promote the use of AdWords by small and medium-sized enterprises. Google has established a “certified partner” system since May this year as a program for companies that support the use of AdWords. As a result, only a limited number of advertising agencies can become certified partners, and the number is insufficient to promote the use of AdWord by all advertisers.
On the other hand, Google Open Business Partners allows corporations and individuals to participate as long as they are doing business in Japan. Recruitment of Google Open Business Partners started on September 30th. The response has been great, and the number of applications to date has reached about 2,000 companies.

10th anniversary of AdWords, promotion of use by small and medium-sized enterprises
The first speaker was Mr. Mizuki Iwamura, Google’s executive officer and general manager of marketing. At the beginning, Mr. Iwamura introduced that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the birth of AdWord, and explained the background to the launch of Google Open Business Partnership.

On the other hand, the purpose of Google Open Business Partners is to support those who support small and medium-sized enterprises considering using AdWords.Partners will use this program as an opportunity to deepen their relationship with their clients.
