The program invites social entrepreneurs from historically underrepresented communities to share their innovative ideas and provide opportunities for funding and mentorship.

Tommy Hilfiger is pleased to announce the opening of submissions for the 4th Annual Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge. This global program reflects Tommy Hilfiger’s sustainability vision of “Waste Nothing and Welcome All” and will continue to grow to create a more inclusive future for fashion. It encourages and supports new voices of social entrepreneurs who are able to go forward and form creative innovations.

In keeping with Tommy Hilfiger’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, fairness and equal opportunity, this year’s competition attracted entries from historically underrepresented communities, including racial minorities, people with disabilities and women. “The Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge aims to bring together entrepreneurs from different fields, invest their knowledge and resources, and bring out their innovative and unique strengths,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “As an entrepreneur myself, I have always wanted to create a global lifestyle brand that is inclusive – this philosophy lives on through this challenge. I truly believe that we can bring about some long-term change.”

The following prizes will be awarded to support the winner’s business idea.
– A total of €200,000 (approximately ¥27.1 million) will be awarded to two winners
– 15,000 euros (approximately 2 million yen) will be awarded as an additional prize if selected in the “Audience Favorite Vote”
– One year of mentorship from Tommy Hilfiger’s in-house global experts
– INSEAD’s one-year mentorship and course

After the top 50 teams have been selected, the finalists will be narrowed down to 6 teams through internal selection. Each finalist will further refine their business plan with the support of Tommy Hilfiger representatives and outside experts for the final event. Trained by experienced pitch coaches, each finalist will present their concept to judges and Tommy Hilfiger employees at the final event of the Global Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge in early 2023.
