Pants that show trends clearly in changes in waist position, material, and silhouette. We asked four fashionable people to show us their styling using their favorite pants. Check out the snapshots taken by self-shooting and feel the mood of the season.
With highly designed denim pants as the leading role
THE OUR Buyer Kana Kobayashi(@ Cna213)
Kobayashi’s favorite pants for this season are Maison Margiela’s blue denim. “It’s a thick shape, but it doesn’t have a dull impression, and it’s a pair of pants that makes you look neat. It’s easy to match with anything, and it’s useful.” I matched it with a fresh yellow shirt and bodysuit. “I put on a dressy shirt, which I usually play the leading role in, and put on a bodysuit of the same color so that it doesn’t look too casual,” says Kobayashi.
Maison Margiela’s denim pants are very popular with fashion rubber. Highly designed items with a cut on the waistline are worn lightly with minimal accessories. “This summer, I want to try a healthy skin-showing style,” says Kobayashi.
Metallic gold wide pants are spicy!
Worked at a flower shop Mr. Enka Hayasaki(@Madokahayasaki)
“I had a plan to go eat curry on this day, so I put it together in turmeric color!” Says Hayasaki. The slightly matte metallic gold pants are from MASU. “I’ve always wanted metallic pants, and I’ve been looking for them in second-hand clothing stores. I like the color of gold, and I like the wide silhouette, but the linen makes the drape soft and elegant.” Gold, which does not become too gorgeous, goes perfectly with hair color!
For tops and cardigans, dare to match items with high design. “Because it’s high-waisted pants, I put on something with a point on the chest and put on a short-length cardigan to keep the balance,” says Hayasaki.
The latest balance made with chino pants and short length shirt
UNITED ARROWS Press Maiko Ieshiro(@Maikoieki___ua)
“Because I’m 158 cm tall, I emphasize length and overall balance when choosing clothes. I aim to wear simple yet well-designed items lightly,” says Ieshiro. Chinos and cropped shirt showed me a lot of styling like this season. “I’ve put together a preppy style for this year’s mood. The point is the balance between tops and bottoms.”
At first glance, the pants have a basic design, but the waist is doubled, and it is interesting to see the just waist pants worn inside from the low waist pants. “Even with short length tops, you can enjoy the low waist style without getting hungry! Chino pants are a casual item, but they look beautiful,” says Ieshiro.
Buggy pants that give you a style-up look
MOGGIE CO-OP MD / Manager Yumiko Murakami(@ Ymk1031)
Murakami chose Dries Van Noten’s buggy pants. Combine with the brand’s bright shirt dress for a dramatic pants style. “We matched the shirt dress with the printed T-shirt so that it can be used normally. We balance it with wide pants so as not to lose the pattern of the dress,” says Murakami. For the pants, I chose olive green instead of black to add lightness and blend in with the color of the dress.
“These pants are a classic model of Doris. I also have them in other materials. I like them because they have a long leg effect and have a wide silhouette that creates an atmosphere,” says Murakami. Even if you put on a T-shirt, it will not be too casual, and it will be finished in a sophisticated mood!
