Since its founding in 1897, Globetrotter has been an integral part of travelers around the world. Its beautiful, simple and lean design is robust and at a glance. The Globe-Trotter suitcase, which has been loved over time, is also a heirloom that has been passed down from generation to generation.
In July 2022, Globe-Trotter will unveil a new collection with four-wheel casters, based on the original model that quickly reached the summits of Antarctica and Everest to commemorate the 125th anniversary of its founding.
The design hasn’t changed since the brand’s first case was created in 1897 using an innovative material called Vulcan Fiber. Vulcan fiber is tough and lightweight, making it the perfect material for luggage and has always been at the heart of Globe-Trotter’s handmade luggage.
A special process is used to bond 14 layers of paper, cotton and wood pulp to form a single piece of strong Vulcan fiber. Skilled craftsmen heat, bend and mold this sheet to create luggage and bags that can handle any situation. The original series of suitcases has been the lightest case offered by Globe-Trotter since 2022 to make your modern journey more comfortable.
