In Japan, while the externalization and simplification of food is progressing, the distance between food and agriculture is getting farther, and the public’s awareness and interest in agriculture and farming villages is fading. Under these circumstances, in order to ensure the future of Japan and its own food, consumers, agriculture, forestry and fishery workers, and food business operators will meet and interact, and new awareness and discovery of “food and agriculture” will be made. We aim to create opportunities to change awareness and behavior.
This time, at LaLaport Fukuoka, as a wide-area collaboration project of seven prefectures in Kyushu, through the presentation of results by students who have experienced production, distribution, and retail sites, we will touch on the charm of agriculture in Kyushu, and learn about the challenges facing Japan’s “food”. “NIPPON FOOD SHIFT FES. Kyushu” will be held as an opportunity to think together about the future we aim for.Schedule: November 12 (Saturday) and 13 (Sunday), 2022, from 10:00 to 18:00
